Making heads turn wherever she lands, "The Sapphire", or "Safiren" as the Swedes call her, is famed for both her excellent looks and handling capabilities. It served in the Swedish Air Force right up until 1994, and Austria flew the Safir until '92. Quite a feat for an aircraft that had its first flight in 1945!
